The Vauxhall Meriva is the perfect family car, with impressive flexibility and smart storage options. The eye-catching, sleek design of this model is matched by the functionality of sophisticated technology features and efficiency levels, creating an environment that combines comfort and convenience in perfect harmony.
A modern, distinctive exterior is achieved through 'wave-design' window lines, unique grille, and rear light clusters that ensure the Meriva MPV stands out in a crowd. The combination of sculpted 'blade' sides and sweeping A-pillars also provides a stylish presence.
The unique FlexDoors® open to a 90-degree angle to make loading and access as simple as can be. Rear-hinges create a safe space between the doors for children to get in and out of the car, while inside you'll find a modern and functional interior.
The wraparound instrument panel utilises space in the front with everything in comfortable reach, and creating up to 32 practical storage solutions. High quality finishes give a contemporary impression, with generous light and space achieved by the panoramic Glass Sunroof that extends over both seat rows to let the sun shine through, whilst an electric sunshade will keep you cool.
The Meriva is available in 11 colours, from refined Sovereign Silver to dazzling Flame Red, while the interior can be customised to add an extra level of personality to the design. For example, in Skyline Orange the upholstery is finished with a distinctive cityscape silhouette.
However long you spend at the wheel or in the passenger seat, you'll stay relaxed and alert with the model's infotainment and comfort features.
These features are offered across the specification levels with the Meriva, and may be standard items or optional upgrades.

Your choice of advanced petrol and diesel engines when selecting the new Meriva includes 1.4-litre turbo versions at 120PS and 140PS. The quickest acceleration is from the 1.6-litre 163PS edition which sprints to 60mph in less than ten seconds.
The entry-level petrol engine produces a very respectable 100PS, taking you to the same speed in close to 14 seconds.
When it comes to fuel economy, the best figures are provided by the ecoFLEX engine range. The 1.3-litre diesel CDTi with added Start/Stop technology – cutting power to the engine when you're at a standstill – delivers up to 68.9mpg combined. It also keeps emissions low peaking at only 109g/km of CO2. The majority of the engines will run reliably alongside a manual five-speed gearbox, with the exception of the range-topper, which uses a six-speed version. To give you more choice, there's also a six-speed automatic gearbox offered with the 1.7-litre CDTi 110PS and 1.4-litre 120PS engines.
In its most recent Euro NCAP testing, the Meriva was awarded a five-star safety rating. That should come as no surprise given the car's side-impact airbags, ABS and ESP-plus with traction control. All of the key electrical components have also been 'doubled up', similar to the safe practice on aircraft, and are monitored by the vehicle constantly to prevent technical failures. Many of the model's innovative safety measures work hard to protect you without you even noticing. The doors will automatically lock for added security at speeds of more than 2mph, and you'll receive audible and visible warnings if they're not closed properly.
